Resin Rich Technology-Semi Cured B Stage

 

AG carries an extensive range of semi cured B-stage insulation materials by renowned manufacturers Isovolta AG, Fibertek Inc. and Arlon STD.

Applications include; single conductor insulation to coil insulation, pole and interpole insulation, overhang and interturn insulation.  These products have extensive use in power generation, AC and DC motors, traction motors, and other electrical and electronic equipment. Products are available off the shelf in both log rolls and slit tapes or fully fabricated to your drawing or sample.

  • Calmicaglas 0893 - Manufactured by Isovolta with uncalcined mica and thermosetting epoxy novolac resin for coils and bars of low and high voltage machines.
  • Calmicaglas 2005, 0409 - Manufactured by Isovolta with calcined mica and thermosetting epoxy novolac resin for highest output and voltage.
  • Res-I-Glas Banding Tape - Manufactured by Fibertek utilising only the Type F highest grade raw materials. Fully cured ultimate tensile strength at elevated temp. = 240,000psi and maximum continuous operating temperature of 220°C.
  • Fusible Silicone Tape - Manufactured by Arlon STD, Self Fusing Silicone Tapes are made of a special fully cured silicone rubber compound that fuses to itself in minutes to form a permanent bond. These tapes are ideal for electrical insulation, moisture protection, and high or low temperature applications. No residue remains when the tape is removed. Available in two standard cross sections - triangular and rectangular in various thicknesses and widths. Rectangular is available as reinforced or un-reinforced.
